1. Mixing the alginate powder with water to the correct consistency. |
2. Once mixed the alginate is poured onto a cloth. |

3. The alginate is molded around the foot and allowed to set. |
4. Once set the mold is removed from the foot or hand. |

5. Mixing the plaster, not too thick or too thin...We don't want any bubbles! |
6. Pouring the plaster, again we are trying not to introduce air to the plaster mix. |

7. The reveal! Once set, we can gently peel the alginate mold from the plaster. |

10. The cast is left to dry before we move to the next stage. |

11. Once dry, the cast is painted in the chosen colour, here it is silver. |
12. Patination is applied using a mascara brush! |
